Part F -- Ventilation Validator;     Build Tight / Ventilate Right

Buildings are now a lot more insulated and air tight, so it is vital that a suitable ventilation system is in place. Habitable rooms require a minimum amount of supply air, extraction and purge ventilation.

The airtightness level determines the correct level of ventilation to comply with Building Regulations Part F 2019.

We recommend using a more energy efficient mechanical ventilation system such as Continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation (CMEV) and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR).

Ventilation systems should be designed, installed, balanced & commissioned by competent installers.  They must be independently validated by a competent person who is certified by an independent third party.

Insufficient ventilation systems can lead to mould growth, condensation damage and unhealthy living conditions.
